Description

All headphone/mic assemblies now feature improved design including: new PTT circuit, added Kevlar strength element for increased Hi-Use cable durability, improved headphone cable length and strength, and new ME-150 microphone!

The headset/microphone installations are designed so that the user can connect either a fixed wire or wirelessly to a helmet or full face mask (ffm). Since there are many styles of ffm on the market, we offer a wide selection.

There can be endless configurations depending on the application. The following configurations are the most commonly used. Custom headset/microphone (E/M) assemblies can be manufactured upon request. However, off-the-shelf assemblies are more readily available.
In addition to supporting different mounting methods for each FFM, E/M assemblies can be configured with either of these two microphone elements:
  • ME-150 Hot Mic® NEW, Noise Canceling, Salt Water Resistant, Pressure Resistant Studio Quality Microphone
  • ME-16R Hot Mic® noise canceling, salt water resistant, pressure resistant studio quality microphone
  • The Super Mic is a waterproof, pressure-resistant ceramic microphone with a compact, lightweight design and noise canceling features that reduce background noise for clearer communication
All standard E/M configurations have a Push-to-Talk (PTT) button, which is used only for communication through water. two 150 ohm earphones and earphone covers.
